The Alliance Police Department Records Division is responsible for all police reports and public records requests. Records Department operation hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.
The Records Department is supervised by the Auxiliary Services Captain and Office Coordinator. The Captain makes policy regarding police department documents, their filing, retention and how they are distributed to the public and media.
The Office Coordinator oversees the day to day operations of the records department. It is the records coordinator's job to manage reports filed by detectives and patrol officers, categorize and file those records and provide copies as requested to the media and public.
